Go ahead and hate them if you wish – but WALMART is the best subsidy my family ever got.
We don’t buy meat there – because they don’t have butchers there, and who knows where the meat comes from, but their produce is fresh, and their prices are 30% lower on a lot of packaged goods.
Go ahead & price a box of the kids favorite cereal there, and compare it against one of the ‘other’ grocery stores.
I pay less for work pants there than I did 20 years ago.
No, I don’t hate WALMART, I just wish more companies could figure out how to get their cost of business down as low as they have.
