Thursday talk radio update
Dom Giordano was the guest host on the Fred Thompson show, and quite literally the first words I heard come out of his mouth were an absolute lie. He started with a sound bite from Al Gore, who was saying that the Arctic Ocean could be ice-free by 2014. When the clip finished, Giordano said that if you asked Gore where that prediction came from, he wouldn’t be able to tell you because, of course, he just made it up.
But, of course, Gore hadn’t. Giordano’s only possible defense is that he’s just too ignorant and foolish to have been expected to check his facts. But somebody who sets out to call someone else a liar ought to at least do a minimal amount of fact checking, even a radio host. Giordano, however, lies with impunity.
