My favorite member of my all-time favorite band has just put the load right on me.
In an unrelated matter, the organizers of this summer’s Olympics in London have asked the drummer for the Who, Keith Moon, if he’d like to perform in the closing ceremony. Trouble is, Keith’s been safely dead for 45 years now. (Guess news doesn’t travel very quickly in the Mother Country.)
Too bad about Levon Helm. It’s nice, however, that his music will live on.
