But how much would you like the increased business David?

You think you can't afford it now, but you'll have no choice but to pay for Obamacare if it's enacted.

Remember, the taxes start right away, even though it wouldn't be implemented until The Great Leader is out of office.

"There aint no such thing as free lunch "- LOL

JAYoung,
I wonder the same thing. I think single-payer would be great for my business. We have lost numerous good workers and job candidates because we can't afford to offer health insurance.

Like the corporate masters they serve, Republicans are incapable of thinking past the next fiscal quarter. Any GOP "win" on health care will only delay the inevitable, as us working stiffs continue to face higher premiums, higher deductibles, poorer coverage or the outright loss of coverage that smaller companies increasingly cannot afford.
What gets me is why business owners weren't behind a single-payer system like Canada's. You would think business would love to get health care costs off their balance sheets.
I came to the conclusion that business fears that the labor market would become much more fluid and they'd have to compete (and pay more) for workers if the workers were not in bondage to keep their health care.
I know many people who stay in low-paying jobs that they hate just because they need to keep coverage for their families. Business gets great productivity gains while their employees get stuck with the stagnant wages. It's a downward spiral for the middle class.

I believe that Baucus ranks third in campaign contributions from health insurance and medical companies. Mitch McConnell ranks first.

Hannity is generally afraid to speak with anyone who has his ducks in a row. On the rare occasion that he has gone head to head with someone well informed and articulate, he gets his ass handed to him.

Being a person with a short attention span, I doubt I could sit through a 2-hour move. Heck, I have trouble with a 1-hour TV show at times...

The last movie I can remember seeing in a movie house (complete with over-price popcorn) was "Beverly Hills Cop." The first one. In its first run. Considering it costs around $12 to get in these days (not to mention the price of a soda, candy and the afore-mentioned popcorn), along with having to deal with morons carrying on a conversation with their friends, in person or -- even worse -- on a cell phone, along with kids running around loose in the aisle (even in an R-rated picture screening, I've been told by friends who witnessed the event), I think I'll wait for the DVD to come out. It's cheaper that way -- and more peaceful, as well.

Actually, if I had my druthers, I think I'd rather go to a drive-in (of which only two are left in the Phoenix area -- a four screener in Glendale, and a six-screen joint in Scottsdale near Big Surf). My three favorite films were first viewed under the stars: Airplane! and the Blues Brothers (at the Scottsdale Six) and the greatest movie ever made, Slap Shot (at the gone, but forgotten Motor-Vue).

Ed, I'm sure that if "Avatar" is worth seeing at all, it would be on the big screen, in 3-D. That might still happen. I'm on spring break this week, and my wife and I are debating which movie we want to take time to see. "Avatar" might be it.
