James “Jimmy” E. Knudson, a master plumber, died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013.
He was born in 1954 to Kenneth and Dortha Knudson in Harlowton. He graduated from Harlowton High School in 1972.
He worked for the Milwaukee Railroad and moved to Deer Lodge. He married Jan in 1977, and they lived in Deer Lodge until 1984.
Mr. Knudson was self-employed as the owner and operator of a trucking business until the age of 42, when he started an apprenticeship to become a master plumber. He eventually went into business for himself as a master plumber, which he did until his death.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Tawny Childs, Lisa Hoke, Julie Knudson and Amy Horsman; brothers, Richard and Gary; and nine grandchildren.
A reception celebrating his life was held in the café at Harvest Church, Lockwood Campus, on Aug. 17. Arrangements were by Cremation & Funeral Gallery.
