Al Higbee, 61, of Bridger, who had owned Really Windy’s Bar & Supper Club, died July 10, 2014, at Billings Health & Rehabilitation Community.
He was born Aug. 9, 1952, in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1971. He worked as a carpenter for Birkenbuel Construction and then as warehouse manager for Pepsi.
He later became general manager of Taco Treat’s Amigo Lounge in Great Falls and was instrumental in getting Taco Treat’s brand of salsa distributed into grocery stores in Great Falls. In 1994 he became the owner of Really Windy’s Bar & Supper Club.
He later worked for oil and gas pipeline companies and continued to work in carpentry.
He had a 1969 Ford Mustang that he worked through his high school years to purchase.
Survivors include daughters, Joli and Kade, both of Billings; mother, Betty Higbee; a sister, Nancy Bennett; and a brother, Dennis Higbee.
Cremation and private family services have taken place.
